In 2024 Ethos CRS partnered with the Australia Awards program to design and deliver 2 fully accessible workshops that supported interaction between participants with deafness, blindness, physical and other disabilities.
We limited each workshop to 20 participants. Materials were provided in both hard and WCAG 2.0 compliant digital copy. Screen-readers, earbuds, headphones and mobile phones with other accessibility tools were available to those who needed them. Four sign language interpreters and 4 sighted personal assistants were on hand to provide further support.
Participants’ satisfaction rate was an immensely satisfying 99%. Many commented on how educational and engaging they found the workshops.
